Freedom camp

Hello!
I had an eye appointment today, and they used eye drops that made my eyes blurry (and my pupils huge). This means that this post was rather difficult to type up, sorry if the quality was affected.
Today is Rare Item Monday, which brings us an item that helps us prepare for the Freedom Day celebrations.
It would have been nice if it was non member, but I suppose members can buy this to use in their Freedom Day costumes. I hope there are non member new Freedom items this year! You can get this on the third page of Jam-mart clothing, today only.
Meanwhile, today is your last day to get the Moon Necklaces;so buy yours today! I don't think they will be very rare since not only are they very common in Sky High and the first two Phantom adventures, loads of Jammers bought them.
I really love them though, so I SHALL MAKE A STORAGE DEDICATED TO MOON NECKLACES. Anyway, the activities calendar has something for you, bored Jammers, today!

Have you checked out the printable pages? I really want to help Pandas, because they are just simply too cute for their own good.Adorable squishy furry balls of wonder, they are. I can't print them out, but I did take a look at them and they look really good. How will you help save an endangered species?

Before moving on, here's a bit of blog news. I plan on making rarity scans, and the first one today. Due to items rapidly shifting in value and reliable information difficult to find, I will create up  to date scans featuring accurate information. What would YOU like to see a rarity scan on? Comment soon enough and your suggestion may be featured here today!

On to the promised side topic, camping! I have not received any suggestions yesterday, so here are just a couple of things you could do while camping in Sarepia Forest (or perhaps somewhere else!) this Summer.

  • Choose a good location! You can camp ANYWHERE in Jamaa, so choose a location suited to your needs. You can base it on features available in the location (for example, Sarepia Forest has a theatre and Crystal Sands has an aquarium).
  • Choose an outfit! It's great to have a backpack, and be geared out for the weather in your location. It's good to bring sunglasses and a lei for Crystal Sands, for example.
  • Use some of the resources naturally available! Sarepia Forest is particularly good for this; you can pick berries, collect wood and fashion things out of leaves, whilst in Crystal Sands you can grab coconuts and use Sand Dollars. It brings out your creative side!
  • Know where you will be staying. You can stay in a building or pretend a building is your tent, or even abstain from using buildings altogether. An example of this is using the Flag Shop as your tent in Sarepia Forest, the Smoothie Shack in Crystal Sands or the Medical Centre in Kimbara Outback. The best tent is the one in Mt.Shiveer- the hot cocoa hut. Remember, your shelter doesn't have to be a tent! You can build a house out of sticks- go on!
  • Make sure there's food! Remember, you can use resources available in the lands too, and use your imagination! For example, you can pick 'Arctic Berries' in Mt.Shiveer or pick melons in Kimbara Outback- it's up to you!
  • Decide on activities! Playing games, whether games already in your area or buddy games, telling stories and chatting, shopping and using facilities available are good examples. For example, in Coral Canyons, you can enjoy some of the fun games, paint in the Art Studio and buy some fancy stuff in Epic Wonders- so many activities can be found in one land!
  • Bring buddies! Buddies are very important, but if this is not possible, you can always camp alone. You can play games with buddies, do activities and combine ideas, or, alternatively, make some buddies while you're there!

Here are two questions today!

  1. What would you like to see a rarity analysis on? Which item has a value you don't understand, or do you need some good advice to trade a rare item? Comment!
  2. What other tips do you have for camping in Jamaa this summer?
I will see you later today, as I will try my best to update this blog- especially when my eyes are back to normal.

Dreadlock bugs

Hello!
I checked on the Summer Carnival today, and I found a new item!
It's the hat with dreadlocks!
Everything seems much cheaper than last year; did you know that in the 2013 Summer Carnival this item costed 5,000 tickets? In 2012, it was 16,000 tickets! It seems like prices were going down each year...
It's quite a nice item, but I never really take it seriously when I see it on an animal. It looks rather... goofy. Have you been able to put together an outfit with this item?

This is a Daily Explorer post from yesterday, and it seems like AJHQ also remembers that Summer started yesterday! There are some fun facts in the article, too, so why not check that out?

Now, for a couple of random blog news ^-^ I am always hard at work at updating this blog when I can, so if you have any suggestions, leave a comment! For example- are there any side topics you would like to see? Any activities or pages? Do you know a cool gadget that would compliment this blog? I may not listen to them ALL, but some of your suggestions might end up being used!
I will start with the fact there are a couple of new pages, so check them out! If inspiration strikes, I will create new pages today, so that's something to look forward to.
Meanwhile, I received an anonymous comment yesterday on my blog;
I am extremely glad you like my blog, BUT  I do not think you are actually Julian2. This is because Julian2 would most likely use his own Google account to comment, so for now I would call this person an impostor. It clearly states in my blog rules not to do that;- here's a snippet:

''Thank you for visiting the Animal Jam Rainbow! It's great that you want to comment, but in order to make the commenting experience more enjoyable for all, there are a couple of rules I have to put in place. Please read and follow them!
5.Do not impostor anyone please- everyone has their own individuality.
6.I have allowed commenting anonymously so Jammers can comment without a blogger account. If you can, please say WHO you are when commenting using anonymous.
7.Have fun! This is for sharing your opinions and hopefully, you will enjoy it.
What if I break the rules?
>Your comment will be deleted so no Jammers can get offended by it.
>I will give you a warning by replying to the comment.
If you persistently defy the rules, then I will ban you from commenting. I may even ban you from the blog!''

So, even though I am not a fangirl of Julian2, everyone has their own individuality. Therefore, I will not delete this comment just yet, but please bear that in mind Anonymous ^-^
You don't HAVE to say your username, but if you do, ensure it's your real username please. I have no way of knowing if it's true or not upon first glance, so I have to trust you all to be honest. If this continues at high rates, I may remove the option to comment as Anonymous.

Now, here is for yesterday's question, to which I got a response!
The question answered was ''Can you think of any more activities you will do this Summer?''

Thank you, Jzale314
Click here to visit her awesome blog,it's VERY interesting! Adventures- woah, I love them. ESPECIALLY the cool prizes. Sarepia Forest was something I always associated with Spring and Autumn, but Summer is actually an excellent idea! You could go camping- how about I save that for tomorrow's post? I ALWAYS hate bugs, especially when they bite >.> Bring bug spray, and a mosquito net. I always put my duvet over my ears during the Summer to avoid hearing the mosquitos.

Anyway, I'm afraid that's all for today, but here's a question;-
  1. What cool techniques to do you know for camping on Animal Jam? Answer, and you will be featured in tomorrow's post!

Summer Snakes flying Kites

Hello!
I have searched every shop in Jamaa and was unable to find a new item, so I suspect that the Wolf Claw was released yesterday by mistake and was supposed to be today's new item. I have decided to post nice and early because I want to deliver Animal Jam news quickly, and it turns out today's new item is sold in the Summer Carnival! Foolish me, forgot to check. ^-^
It's the kite! How great, have you ever used a kite before? The lollipop necklaces aren't out yet,but I hope they will be available!

However, stock up on your snake skins since this is your last day to get them- you never know when and if they will come back!
Since there are no other things going on apart from that, I will mention another post on the Daily Explorer yesterday (if anyone is still interested)

Very interesting articles, especially learning about the properties of coral! I also want to save Pandas, they are just the BEST.
Your argument is invalid.
The activities calendar doesn't have anything today, so I suppose it's up to me now.
Today, the Summer Solstice will take place.
Here's what time for some areas:-
EDT- 6.51am
AJR time- 11.51am
AJHQ time-4.51am
It is the longest day of the year, so use the sunshine well! The warmest days of the summer tend to come after to solstice too, so prepare yourself! What do you love about Summer? Do you have any good memories? It's difficult to put my memories into words, but there are so many awesome things you can do during Summer!
Use those months wisely, while it lasts! Here are just some things you can do in real life:
  • Make your own smoothie!
  • Have a picnic!
  • Go swimming!
Whereas, there are many things you can do on Animal Jam too! Here are the outlines of some things you can try doing to welcome the warm summer.
  • Hang out in Crystal Sands- go down the water slides, relax by the beach and walk in the ocean- there's more than you think there is! Meanwhile, complete your journey book page if you haven't already to earn a lemonade stand so you can...
  • Have a Summer Party in your den! Anyone can do this, so stock up on the beach towels, collect those lemonade stands, grab yourself a tiki torch and decorate your den to look like a summer party!
  • Enjoy the Heatwave and Cruise Ship parties! They are a lot of fun and you can do a lot, so enjoy them while the summer lasts!
  • Chill in the Juice Hut! Make a smoothie, and hang out with your buddies in some shade for once! You can also have a go at the claw to try winning a plushie for your den!
  • Have fun in the aquarium! You can learn so much about ocean life and even watch live fish, so why not give it a go? Also, you can try the touch pool game for prizes and visit the theatre upstairs to chat with buddies and watch some cool videos about the oceans.
Relax in the Oceans! When the heat is too much, why not visit the oceans? They are a lot of fun and also carry so many fun things- journey books, facts, games... explore the beautiful setting!
There is also an Animal Jam Rainbow update- expect new pages tomorrow!

I am going to conclude this post here, so here are two questions for you!

  1. Can you think of any more activities you will do this summer?
  2. How will you welcome Summer 2014?

Colourful Graham Wolves

Hello Jammers!
We'll start with what's going on in Jamaa today, as it also turns out there are TWO new items today!
The first new item can be found in Jam-Mart Furniture and I believe it is the last piece of the Tiki Alpha  Statues- it's member too, unfortunately.
500 gems as all others, it would look good in a Summer den! Those items are rather cultural, don't you think? It's nice to have them!
The second item deserves a HUGE round of applause, it's a non-member version of the claw! You can only win wolf plushies, and I wonder if they will come out for other Animals. It's in the Diamond Shop, so try winning some diamonds if you don't have enough! I'm one diamond short, but maybe I can try trading for one.
LOADS of people are trying to scam using this. Thankfully, someone declined my light brown pigtails because I didn't know they were in stores, but I suspected it.
I will wait and see if more come out before I make plans for getting them, how about you?
In other news, the activities calendar has an activity for today, meaning I don't have to come up with much today.

New Colours! Have you tried any yet? I have a bit to say about this topic, to be honest.
Note: The account below is a STORAGE for experimenting with looks.
First off, the 'secret' icy blue colour is not on the new palette, but you can still get it by clicking HERE on your palette:
Click the very edge of the palette- the bottom right corner. Right where this beautiful lilac colour is!

The colour looks like this (don't get too freaked- I just turned by tiger's features icy blue)
It may take a few clicks, but it can be done!
You know you have the colour because no colour will be highlighted on your palette.
Here are some good colour combinations, I used a tiger because they are big and you can see them well.
You can express your personality and look good even WITHOUT the rare clothes- surprising, huh?
Here are some nice combinations/looks-
FEMININE
Feminine pastel colours
A combination of the more female pastel colours all into one beautiful combination! I love pastel colours, they are just AWESOME.
Pink and Purple
Shades of the most popular colours amongst girls all in one cool look!

Ice
Light blue and white combined into a feminine, icy, winter look.
MASCULINE
Blue and black
Cool, dark colours all blended together!

 FIRE
Fierce colours to resemble a fire!
UNISEX
Chocolate Chip Cookie
Look like this popular sweet treat !

 Bright colours
Bright and happy colours to lift anyone's mood!
Planet Earth

Honestly, you can even look like the world! Different patterns work for this, so see what fits you best! You can also try switching the blue and the green.
Night Starry Sky

There are many variations- change the eyes, the stars and their colour!
I suppose this is it for today, I hope to add some new pages ^-^

Welcome to the Animal Jam Rainbow!

Hello!
Welcome to the Animal Jam Rainbow!
My name is CleverQueen, and there are several different reasons for starting this blog;-

  • I have a lot of knowledge about Animal Jam and I would like to share it with newer Jammers and just the population in general. I want others to find out about the world of Jamaa-sharing my knowledge would be great!
  • I enjoy Animal Jam and posting about it is quite a good hobby- I find it fits in well alongside my main blog and other things. It keeps me from being bored and benefits other Jammers!
  • It's a lot of fun, and informative for the community of Jamaa. I also receive the opportunity to express my views on matters, such as drama, freely!
I won't share too much, that's saved for the page about me. However, I am a non-member (and proud of it) and have played Animal Jam for a little over 2 years.
I will post about new items, updates and other things, hopefully daily, and I hope you will enjoy reading this blog! I apologise for such a shabby welcome post, but I hope it's enough ^-^
Normal posting will start tomorrow!
Enjoy the onset of Summer, Jammers!

Tiki Bubbles

Hello Jammers!
Welcome to my first official post ^-^
I will start with what is new in Jamaa today- firstly, Jam Mart Furniture has received yet another Tiki statue, this time in the form of Peck!
It's members only, sadly. However, the price isn't awful, and Peck's character is strongly reflected onto this statue- she looks rather cheeky, cheerful and playful as usual! Apart from being a little scary, this is a nice item compared to Tablet Computers and Sparkly Shoes- they look awful and don't fit in very well with the game.
That's my opinion, of course. You can disagree!
Are you bored in Jamaa? Why not try playing Bubble Trouble, the first underwater adventure for all Jammers? There are some nice prizes and hefty amounts of gems to be won, so dive into the oceans today and save them from the phantoms!
Have you got all the prizes yet? If not, collect them all! They make nice additions to any den.
That name, though... BUBBLE TROUBLE! IT'S TROUBLE IN THE BUBBLES!
Yes, I have to make up a song for everything.
The more Jammers, the merrier!

The Daily Explorer has announced last week's winner regarding hyenas, it's a rather short article but I hope to win next time. Do you ever think if they generate those types of things randomly?

I'm really sorry, but I'm in hospital right now and have to conclude this post here. However, Jam on!
