How are you all today?
It's Monday, meaning there is a rare item hiding somewhere in Jamaa.
Before I search for it, I'm going to predict, and then I'll see how accurate my guess is ^-^
Member or Non-member? Member
Price range? 500-900
Colour? Purple
Land or Ocean? Land
Clothing or furniture? Clothing
Now give me a second as I look for the rare.
There it is!
I got everything correct except for the colour, meaning I score a 4/5. Not bad!
There is also an awesome new video over at the aquarium;
Nice!
Finally in Jamaa news, today is your last chance to pick up your teapots from Jam-mart furniture!
In blog news, I added more random instrumentals to the playlist and there is also a new page! The new page is specifically dedicated to art. Check it out perhaps?
Plushie stores are still going strong, but I feel the need to clarify what I want for my plushies.
First of all,yes- I can be very picky with some plushies and I'm really sorry. Those plushies aren't so easy to get, and it's harder to get me to accept a trade for some plushies.
So, let's clarify what I'm looking for ^-^
- I am always collecting spiral lamps, rectangular coffee tables, star rugs and fireworks fountains.I may trade more for some (i.e 3 phantom plushies for a fireworks fountain vs. 2 for a blue star rug) By the way, that offer was just an example!
- I currently like friendship necklaces. (I need 4 more for my collection before I trade them off for different colours)
- I like seasonal items, especially the more recent ones- member AND non-member!
- I like coloured items, but ideally the ones you can't get in Sky High and the adventures (except Forgotten Desert) because I have plenty of them already. So,I'm talking about head flowers, quilted blankets, straw hats, woven shoes etc.
- Some plushies are harder to get!
A DAY OUT AT CRYSTAL SANDS
If there's one thing I totally love about Summer in Jamaa, days out in Crystal Sands with buddies are certainly one of my favourite pastimes. Here's a little guide for YOUR days out in Jamaa's very own beach- enjoy!
Come dressed in your Summer clothes!
Don't come dressed in blankets and gloves, wear your favourite Summer clothes! Put on your sunglasses, lei and leaf armour so you don't boil like an egg in the heat. Stuck for outfit ideas? Look no further!
(Made with best dressed)
Visit the aquarium
When you are tired of being outside, visit the aquarium! Watch some videos, look at the live sea camera and learn about funky sea equipment. Along the way, play touch pool to earn some gems and perhaps prizes if you haven't already!
Go down the slides
Going down the slides can actually be a lot of fun! How about you have a race?
Do you know any cool glitches you can teach your buddies?
Choose a cool hangout spot!
One good thing about Crystal Sands is that there are a lot of epic spots to hang out in! It could be on the dock, near the water sprinkler or on a blanket- choose a space, sit down and chat!
Have some fun in the sea!
Have some fun in the sea!
Pretend to be a shark, hop around, be random- you can also pay the oceans a visit if you have a sea animal to cool down!
The juice hut
Oh yes, the juice hut. So much you can do!
For instance, use the stage to your advantage! Perhaps have a concert or performance, or even host a short play!
Don't forget, you can just hang out at the juice hut if you want. It's great if you need to cool down, away from the sun!
You can also pretend to work behind the smoothie counter, it can get rather fun and goofy sometimes! ^-^
Or, have a smoothie yourself! You can always pretend the smoothies are different beverages...
For example, here is one alternative to each smoothie flavour!
Banana- Lemonade!
Orange- Fanta!
Grape-Hmm...I DON'T KNOW!
Strawberry- Who says it can't be cherry?
What others can you come up with?
Or, have a go at the claw! You might leave with a nice souvenir for yourself!
Play some games!
Crystal Sands is home to some rather fun games. How about you play some? You can earn gems to have some more tries at the claw!
That's all I can think of at the moment, what other fun activities do you like to do at Crystal Sands?
Have a fantastic day today and Jam on!
